According to the latest statistics, as of the second quarter of 2024, the number of Snapchat users opening the app every day hit 432 million. This represents a 2.4% increase from the previous quarter.
It is also an 8.8% year-on-year rise, after adding 35 million users in one year. Over this period, with the exception of North America, its home market, the network saw its number of daily users rise in all other regions of the world it tracks.

That said, the company recently announced in February 2024 that its number of monthly active users had hit 800 million. Snapchat has also recently reported that the number of monthly active users on Spotlight, one of the app’s newest features, which promotes short-form video content, grew by 51% year over year to surpass 400 million in Q2 2023.
