How many people in the US have iPhones?

According to recent statistics, there were 153 million iPhone users in the US in 2023. This is 2.7% more than 2022’s 149 million and is one of the smallest annual increases in recent years.

Analysts attribute the rise to Apple cutting prices on some of its older models, which spurred sales, and the government’s ban on rival brand Huawei.

The number of iPhone users in the US has been growing year after year for at least a decade. In 2012, there were 51 million iPhone users—around one-third of the current figure. By 2015, this had nearly doubled, to 101 million, when the number of iPhone users in the US surpassed 100 million for the very first time.
