In other words, it would take less than four seconds to download a one-gigabyte file on fixed connections in the UAE. Incidentally, the UAE also has one of the highest internet adoption rates in the world, with 99% of its population connected.

At 232.15 Mbps, Thailand has the sixth-fastest fixed internet speed in the world. France is close behind in seventh place. It has a download speed of 223.72 Mbps. It is followed by Denmark, with 219.23 Mbps.
After Denmark, Iceland ranks next with an average internet speed of 213.98 Mbps for downloads via fixed connections. Israel rounds out the list with a download speed of 206.42 Mbps, just slightly slower than Iceland’s.
